Something A Little Different

I had these blue teardop glass beads that I bought originally for another project. However, the project didn't work out as well as I had planned. So instead of letting them just sit here I turned them into this adorable little flower bobbie. This is great for keeping those side bangs out of your eyes.

There is something about copper that gives me the warm fuzzies and when paired with lovely dark Carnelian nuggets, well it just doesnt get much better.

This is my new favorite piece in my shop:

New This Week

These pieces have just been added since yesterday. I usually try to only add one a day, but I'm on a creative over-flow right now. Is that a good thing or a bad thing????

** The Onyx Dreams necklace is made with jet black faceted rosary chain and a faceted Onyx nugget as the focal. Great necklace for the little black dress.

** The Lucky necklace is made with multi-colored quart beads and sterling silver beads. it is finished off with a sterling toggle clasp.

** The El Paso earrings are made with sterling wire as well as sterling hooks. The Turquoise Howlite beads are a perfect companion for the red coral chips.

Elks Lodge Show- Raleigh

Well, the day started out really rainy with little hope for any sunshine at all, but the sun did eventually come out. Unfortunately I think it may have been too late and people made other "indoor" plans. The turn out wasn't fantastic, sales were minimal, but I did meet some really cool vendors as well as customers and got to spread the Etsy love at the same time. I have included some pictures of my set up. Much improved since my first show, but I still need to work on some more inventory. As, always comments are welcomed and appreciated.

What's To Come....

Well tomorrow I will be doing my second show and I cannot tell you how very prepared and together I feel this time around. Thanks to some fabulous Etsy-ers I have polished and tied together my "look". I had some really cool earring cards designed by and some really great labels designed by If you need some really amazing design work done I highly recommend both of these Etsy-ers.

I picked up some really great beads today. Now I am just waiting on some wire and I can get started on the next group of designs that have been running amok in my head. Here's a little hint of whats to come: I have some great dark Carnelian beads, Onyx, and some really funky shells.

After my show tomorrow I am hoping to re-invest some of the profits in some supplies. Feel free to email me with suggestions on colors and/or gemstone beads, etc.

I'll be sure to post some pictures eitehr tomorrow evening or Sunday.

Wish me luck!!
